I encountered the same problem on my Windows 7 64 bit system at home. There is a very simple solution: Just edit the files by hand. You don't need a new installation of LPE. First look in lpe.ini. In the section [positions] you find entries labeled game1, game2, ... Just add one entry with the next free number. For me it was game 5:
game5=Warlords of Anjora Game 43 ID 111
Next, I added two lines in the [Position File Names] section, though I don't know if it was necessary:
WA043.111=game5.ini
ZWA043.111=game5.ini
Save the file and then copy an ini-file of another game, e.g. game1.ini, and name it according to your new game number, e.g. game5.ini. There, adjust the following lines:
Module=Warlords of Anjora
Position=111
Module/Game abbreviation=W43
Position tag=111
Additionally, I deleted the entries in the [Last Turn] section, but perhaps this was not necessary.
Now you should be able to select the position "Warlords of Anjora Game 43 ID 111" in LPE. It might still give an error message, but you are able to import the basic data and to view it.
Good luck!
