Champions Game Factions?

I know I'm way early on this subject but how will factions be picked? Will it be random or will Klaus come up with some awesome system?

I think random if there are more teams who want´s to play same faction.

First priority: no random!
The team leaders will have a discussion about the choice of the faction for their teams.
But if there is no agreement in that question, I will search for a different solution like random or GM choice or like that (may be than a simple system like first come, first choice ).

Awsome, thanks that will make everyone's day. They were hoping for a non-random system.
